Who would have believed that some Tech firms and Amazon pay employees to leave if they do not feel they are a good fit for the company? Working Capital Review reports an increase in such behaviors.
At Amazon, the program is called "Pay to Quit" and is offered to people in their fulfillment centers. If they take advantage of the "Pay to Quit" program they can never work for Amazon again.
Some believe programs like this work as an engagement and retention tool.
